今回はBACKSPACE Productions Inc.所属のビジュアルアーティスト、石田 祐暉さんをお迎えします。

このワークショップでは、TouchDesignerとHoudiniとを連携させるワークフローの一例を紹介します。 具体的にはVAT(Vertex Animation Texture)という技術の原理を利用して、Houdiniで作成したパーティクルやインスタンシングの情報をTouchDesigner上に取り込み、リアルタイムでアニメーションさせる方法の解説を行います。

We just published another event on 4th October 2020! 
We will welcome Yuki Ishida, a visual artist from Backspace Productions Inc.

In this workshop, the instructor will show us an example of TouchDesigner workflows with Houdini. We will see real-time animation with data exported from Houdini based on a technique similar to VAT (Vertex Animation Texture).
